Reverend Fr. Ivan Eldon

Assistant Priest

Rev'd. Fr. Ivan Cyril Eldon has been the Priest in charge- at- Christ the King Church in Ridgeland Park West, Nassau, Bahamas since the 1st May, 2010 to the present date.

He was formerly the Assistant Curate at the following churches:-

• St. Gregory's Parish - May 15th, 2003 to August 31st, 2005
• St. George's Parish - September 1st, 2005 to December, 31st, 2006.
• Christ the King 1st January, 2007 - 30th April, 2010

Fr. Eldon was ordained to the Diaconite on August 6th, 2003 and to the Sacred Priesthood on July 22nd, 2004.

He has been married for 34 years to the former Carolyn Wells. This union has been blessed with three children - two sons, Craig and Cory and one daughter, Renee. They have one daughter-in-law, Kandice and two grandsons, Cameron and Liam.

He was born to Eric and Rose Eldon in Nassau, Bahamas on the 24th October, 1955. He has one brother, Henry and two sisters, Beverly and Denise.

Prior to leaving for seminary, Fr. Eldon was employed at Bacardi & Company for many years and held several positions there, the last position being a lab technician at the brewery.

Fr. Eldon attended St. George's Anglican Church, where he was baptized, confirmed and married. He grew up in the church, a member of the CYM, going to Sunday school, serving around the altar, teaching Sunday school and leading the Scouts Troop. He was an active member in the church and a vestry member for many years. He always felt that he had a call to the ordained ministry, but like the Bible says nothing before God's time.

Later in life, Fr. Eldon left St. George's Church to attend St. Matthew's Church, where he continued to serve the Lord in various ministries.

In addition to various ministries in the church, Fr. Eldon was a former toastmaster and the President of the Guild of St. Ambrose for many years until he left to attend seminary in Barbados.

Reverend Fr. Bradley Miller

Assistant Priest

Father Bradley Miller was born in Green Castle, Eleuthera. He was baptized and confirm in St. Michael’s and all Angel’s Anglican Church.

He attended the Green Castle All Age School, Rock Sound Senior High (now Preston H. Albury High), the College of the Bahamas, and Codrington Theological Seminary.

A former Police and Prison Officer, he was ordained Deacon on August 11, 2008 at St. George’s Anglican Church, and was ordained a Priest on the Feast of St. Michael and All Angles, September 29, 2009.

He is married to Vernalee Duncombe and they are the parents of six children.
